We are looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join our busy Development Management Planning team, someone who is a hardworking team player who shares our values, commitment and motivation to make a difference for our districts.
The main duties of this role are:
setting up new cases in our Planning IT System (Uniform)
uploading and labelling documents in our Document Management System.
redacting any sensitive information as required under GDPR
- general day-to-day administrative tasks to assist the teams, including telephone and email management.
the role is not limited to the above and you may be asked to assist in other tasks as and when they arise.
You will need to be accurate and methodical in your approach with an ability to work both on your own and as part of a team. With excellent IT skills you will regularly use a variety of software to input data and research information. Attention to detail is a priority as all planning application forms, plans and documents are published on the Planning Search Facility on our website.

*This role is normally based at our modern and conveniently located office accommodation, however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working from home and it has worked really well for us.
