£29,577 - £34,728 per annum
Fixed Term Appointment or Secondment Opportunity for 2 years.

We are looking for a Lettings Negotiator to join our Housing Solutions Team, working within Central Suffolk Lettings.

You will be able to demonstrate significant housing knowledge, specifically rentals and lettings, be an effective team player and share our values, commitment and motivation to make a difference for our districts.

As Lettings Negotiator, you will:

  • be dedicated to improving our residents’ access to suitable and affordable accommodation within the Private Rented Sector
  • have a proven track record of working with Private Landlords
  • be passionate about helping people to find a new home
  • need to develop positive relationships with local Landlords and agents to promote the Councils Rent Guarantee and Rent Deposit Scheme.

You should have a comprehensive knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Law and be experienced in advising Landlords on their rights and responsibilities. 

A full driver’s license and access to a car will be required for this role.

*This role is normally based at our modern and conveniently located office accommodation, however, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been working from home and it has worked really well for us.
