This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Project Manager to join our ICT and Programmes Team.

You will be an excellent leader who can demonstrate significant project management skills and shares our values, commitment and motivation to make a difference for our districts.

As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver ever more resident focussed and modern services, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to plan, assess and manage the implementation of an improved Digital Platform for Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils.

The Digital Platform will modernise our web presence, provide more end-to-end digital services and, vitally, increase our knowledge of our residents experiences of our services, enabling us to continually improve them.

You will:

  • be educated to at least degree level in a Computing/Software/Technology related subject or have gained equivalent knowledge through experience.
  • be able to demonstrate significant experience of managing large scale projects and service propositions, people related project change management, preparing business cases, options appraisals, and other related technical documents
  • have experience of delivering outcomes or complex projects across multiple teams of people.

This role is normally based at our modern and conveniently located office accommodation, however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working from home and it has worked really well for us.*
