The advertising process


Here is a quick guide to the process for advertising a job vacancy on Suffolk Jobs Direct.

Prepare your advert text

Complete an Advert Request Form

Select and complete the relevent ARF (Advert Request Form):

Email your advert request

You will need to email us your:

  • ARF (Advert Request Form)
  • final advert text

These will need to emailed to 

We recommend you include your own order number on your ARF (Advert Request Form). This will enable you to identify, later on in the process, the final costs of the advert with your records.


Your advert is received

You will receive an email to confirm reciept (normally within one working day) of your advert request.


Confirm your advert

We will send a confirmation email to the contacts on your ARF (Advert Request Form).

This email will detail the advert booking information and the cost.

Firstly, you will need to check the:

  • publications and media
  • dates
  • advert proof (ie how the advert will look when it is published).

Finally, you will then need to email us:

  • your approval for the advert
  • any minor corrections (if necessary) to be made.

If there are any minor amendments, then you must approve these by the deadline date and time requested.

This deadline is to ensure we send the correct advert to the publication / media in time.

During busy periods adverts sent to us may take up to 5 working days to appear on the site. As always, we will strive to get your adverts placed as soon as possible, but please do get in touch with us via our contact page if you have any queries.


Your advert is managed

We will, on your behalf:

  • manage your advert request
  • liaise with all the publications and media suppliers
  • make sure your advert request is loaded onto all of the appropriate sites.


Payment for your advert

You will be charged for the advert(s) via invoice.
