Babergh Mid-Suffolk Council have an opening for a full-time Administrator to join our Building Services team. Building Services deliver our in-house responsive repairs and maintenance work. We are looking for a reliable team player with proven experience in organisational and customer service skills. You will be working in a dynamic environment, and have the ability to respond to changing priorities and demands, with a pro-active solution-based approach.
Based within the Building Services team, you will be co-ordinating and scheduling repair requests to ensure work is responded to within target. Duties include handling inbound and outbound customer calls, managing diaries and appointments, liaising with contractors and operatives, processing of orders and invoicing.
The successful candidate will also have good IT skills, demonstrating good accuracy and attention to detail. Effective communication styles and a collaborative attitude and approach is integral to the role. Experience of working in a repairs / contractor environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
