This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join the Workforce Development Team, which provides a wide range of training opportunities for staff working in Adults and Children and Young People Services within Suffolk County Council. 

You will be working in a dynamic, creative and supportive team, which has a strong commitment to personal and professional development.  You will be expected to demonstrate a good team working ethic and a positive, can-do approach to your work.

You will be working initially on our new Social Work Apprenticeship programme, as well as other qualification and accreditation programmes. You will act as a focal point of contact for specific projects, supporting and encouraging colleagues and stakeholders to meet task deadlines to ensure programmes remain on track. 

You will also maintain apprentice and learner progress records and produce regular reports as directed by the programme leads. 

We are looking for a well organised, calm and methodical person, with a flexible approach to cope with the demands of a busy working environment.
