We are developing our county supervised contact service which supports children in care to spend time with their families and maintain a relationship with them. The service helps children and families develop strategies for coping when it is not possible for children to remain in the care of their parents. This work is central to enabling children to settle in long-term placements or to return home to live.

We are looking for a Support and Information Officer to assist the Contact Co-ordinator in their role of making and overseeing contact arrangements.

This is a new role which provides an exciting opportunity to be actively involved in making families feel welcome by ensuring they have appropriate information and facilities to support this sensitive area of work.

Based in Ipswich contact centre, in addition to meeting families as they arrive you will be responsible for updating data in relation to casual user work, reviewing schedules and the general running of the building.

For an informal discussion please contact Jacquie Gould on 07717 302476.

Please read the Job and Person Profile before applying for this job.
