37.5 hpw, 36.4 weeks per year.

The Seckford Education Trust (SET) was established in 2012, and in response to community requests it opened three secondary schools: SET Beccles School, SET Ixworth School and SET Saxmundham School. In July 2019 we welcomed two Felixstowe based primary schools to the trust: SET Maidstone Infant School and SET Causton Junior School.

We are now looking to appoint three Apprentice Administration Assistants to our secondary schools, one in Beccles, one in Ixworth and one in Saxmundham.

Having successfully supported a number of apprentices through their studies across our schools, you will be joining well established and dedicated teams and will have plenty of opportunity to gain experience and develop, and will carry out a wide range and level of duties.

Reporting to the Trust Administration Manager via the Senior Administration Assistant, you will provide any general administrative support as required. This will include (but not be limited to):

  • reception duties
  • maintaining databases and parent contact details
  • reprographics
  • typing
  • collation of documentation
  • drafting of official reports
  • minute taking
  • assisting with the admissions process including undertaking tours of the school.

For more information about the trust, these roles and to download an application form, please visit our website: www.seckfordeducation.org.uk

Please return your completed application form by email to: hr@seckford-foundation.org.uk

Please note that interviews in the first instance are likely to take place via Zoom Video Conferencing.

We reserve the right to appoint prior to the closing date so please submit your application early to avoid disappointment.

The Seckford Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
