Anglia Care Trust is seeking to recruit an Intensive Support Officer to work in the Domestic Abuse Outreach Service. You will be based in Ipswich, but the role will be countrywide.

Are you passionate about helping people who are experiencing domestic abuse? Are you comfortable working with both males and females, adults and children? Do you think you have the skills to provide support, advice and guidance on the Suffolk Domestic Abuse Helpline?

You will be working in a holistic and empathetic way with individuals and families, acting as Lead Professional to ensure individuals’ and families’ needs are met by both our service and other agencies, in order to promote resilience and break the cycle of domestic abuse.  Most importantly, you will build relationships with clients to set up support packages to meet their aims and objectives and change behaviours.

Support and opportunities for personal development will be provided.

Access to your own transport is essential as this position will involve travel across Suffolk.

*Plus 6% non-contributory pension contribution.
