You will have a strong professional track of working in partnership to make a real difference to local communities. You will have excellent relationship building, communicating and influencing skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of community development approaches. Experience or an awareness of working in a political environment would be beneficial.

We are looking for a strong team player who will identify opportunities to improve outcomes for our communities. You will have the drive and skills to work independently, yet contribute to the delivery of the councils' wider agenda. You will also have experience to demonstrate that you understand the value of working with a wide range of partners (public, voluntary and private sector) to improve the quality of life in the area. As well as supporting community development in a market town and surrounding villages, you will also have responsibility for leading a specialist area across West Suffolk.
