Fixed term or a secondment opportunity for one year. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to make a real difference to young people at risk of criminal exploitation through county lines.

The role will be to engage and work with at risk young people and their families and will require some weekend and evening working.

You will:

  • be flexible, persistent and can adopt an assertive outreach approach to engaging hard to reach young people
  • be self-motivated, resilient and well organised. 

This post will be based in the Suffolk Youth Justice Service (SYJS) and have access to a range of specialist services, working closely with the Suffolk Against Gang Exploitation (SAGE) team and the multi agency county lines panel. 

This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role,  you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
