You will be delivering science workshops in schools as part of a team. You will also be working with children on a school visit to our science centre in Claydon. There are opportunities to deliver workshops anywhere in East Anglia and transport is provided from our base in Claydon (training will be given).
You may be working with a class of primary or secondary students in a classroom or be in a park in Suffolk, delivering nature workshops. It is a very varied role and you will be collecting your kit and travelling to outreach venues as well as welcoming and inspiring children within the science centre that opens in the summer. The workshops could be anything from Kitchen Chemistry to helping with a pop-up planetarium or working with mini beasts!
You will be working as part of a team delivering to children of all ages various workshops to do with STEM subjects.
We are a fun, exciting and bubbly team who love working with children and teachers. You will be willing to learn and deliver a quality experience for our customers (children and families) and be willing to travel and explore new venues with team members.
Good communication skills will be essential and confidence in front of an audience. You should be willing to learn various workshops. Experience is not necessary as your friendly personality is more important and training will be given, and so no minimum qualification for this role.
