Suffolk County Council are currently recruiting for a Family Support Practitioner to join the Early Help Ipswich West Team based in Landmark House on a 12 month secondment.

You will:

  • work alongside children and families, using solution focused practice to empower positive change in their lives
  • undertake 2 - 3 days of duty tasks a month which may involve supervised contacts, welfare checks, brokering CAF’s and responding to tasks that have been requested from social care
  • be expected to undertake supervised contact and may have to travel out of area as part of the role.
