A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our coastal management team. This apprenticeship opportunity could be your ideal first step on the career ladder in communications or coastal management fields.
You will be working in the coastal management team of Coastal Partnership East (CPE). CPE is a partnership of three local authorities, East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth Borough, North Norfolk District Councils working as a single team. We deliver a resilient and comprehensive coastal management service. CPE manages existing coast defence structures, builds new structures, innovative new types of coast defences and engages with our communities to find sustainable ways of managing the coast.
Your responsibilities will include administration such as photocopying, filing, scanning, answering the telephone and arranging meetings and travel arrangements for the team. You will also be responsible for updating the partnership website and assist in the preparation and consultation of promotional materials. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the developing brand for the partnership and to help grow the partnerships involvement with social and digital media.
You need to have excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for ICT and a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grades 4 -9/Grade C and above, or (or equivalent) including English and Maths and high level of accuracy. You will have a genuine interest in the coast and working with people. You will be expected to work independently at times but with support. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

- 13th May 2019, 5pm – 6.30pm at the Riverside Offices (4 Canning Road, Lowestoft NR33 0EQ)
- 14th May 2019, 5pm – 6.30pm at the East Suffolk House offices (Riduna Park, Station Road, Melton, Woodbridge IP12 1RT).
