Full and Part Time roles available across Suffolk. Hours from 18.5 per week up to 37 per week. Please specify the hours and location you would like to apply for.

 We are currently recruiting for motivated and enthusiastic School Nurses to join our School Nursing Teams across Suffolk. We are currently looking to fill a number of vacancies both Full and Part Time, as well as Term Time and All Year Round.

 This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your leadership and management skills, whilst being at the forefront of developing and implementing services centred around Children and Young People.

 

You will:

  • have a key role in delivering the Healthy Child Programme
  • support health needs of school age children and their families through a Public Health approach
  • promote health and wellbeing to ensure each child is able to maximise their potential and positive outcomes are achieved. 

It is a requirement that you hold current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registration (Parts 1 and 3). Part 3 registration should be as a Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nursing) or Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) with evidence of completion of migratory portfolio.

You will be required to travel frequently in rural areas, so you must hold a valid full driving licence and have access to personal transport.
