We are currently recruiting for motivated and enthusiastic School Nurses to join our School Nursing Service in Suffolk.
This is an extremely exciting time to join School Nursing in Suffolk, as we have invested heavily in our school nursing provision, increasing our staffing capacity to deliver the Healthy Child Programme. This additional resource will enable early identification of the needs of children and young people aged 5 - 19, within and outside of a school setting. We provide an enhanced offer to children and young people who are vulnerable, including those with Special Educational Needs and disabilities.
Each senior school in the county has a named nurse within School Nursing, providing support to their children and young people. You will work with children and young people, individually and in groups, to promote healthy lifestyles and resilience and improve public health outcomes.
