NHS IESCCG and ISCRE are working together to develop, support and evaluate a programme of work to encourage better involvement and understanding of individuals from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in the Ipswich and East Suffolk locality. We are recruiting a BAME Integration and Partnerships Coordinator to support this programme of work. The role will be hosted within ISCRE in order to benefit from the established relationships, trust and communication with the targeted communities and individuals.
The postholder will take a leading role in making sure that the work of the CCG engages with and reaches BAME communities.
The post will enable engagement of BAME and other minority communities in primary and community care service improvement and transformation plans across Ipswich and East Suffolk, with the aim to improve health and wellbeing outcomes of BAME and minority ethnic communities in Ipswich and East Suffolk.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, with a ‘can-do’ approach, as well someone with excellent team working, engagement and inclusion skills.
You will be based at both Endeavour House and at ISCRE’s office at 46A St. Matthew’s Street, Ipswich. You will be required to travel across Ipswich, and more widely across Suffolk.
This is an exciting chance for you to contribute to the redesign and delivery of patient care over the next decade, based on meaningful collaboration and co-design.
