You will be a Project Manager who has a proven track record in delivering successful projects within a political environment. Ideally you will have knowledge of a planning system and have had experience in managing projects which involve construction or require similar skills and expertise.
If you have knowledge and experience of working with legislation in relation to gypsy and travellers that will be of benefit. Given the nature of the project, you will be required to work with Communication colleagues to develop a robust approach to community engagement and consultation for the project and will have well developed communication skills. We are looking for an individual who can work well as part of a team but can also work on their own initiative.
The post is advertised as an 18 month fixed term contract or secondment with the possibility of an extension to two years.
