An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Needs Officer to join our team based in Lowestoft. You will need to travel to partner sites will be required.

You will be responsible for a small portfolio of directly managed temporary accommodation along with liaising with our other Temporary  Accommodation Providers.  You will also be responsible for the delivery of the council’s Private Rented Access  Provision. You will  also  be responsible for procuring  accommodation as and when required to meet the council’s onging Temporary Accommodation needs. You will be the first point of contact for our landlords.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills along with a working knowledge of both the Housing Act 2004 and the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.
