This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Workforce Development Team, which provides a wide range of training opportunities for staff working in Adult and Community Services and Children and Young People’s Services within Suffolk County Council.
You will be working in a dynamic, creative and supportive team, which has a strong commitment to personal and professional development; so will be expected to demonstrate a good team working ethic and a positive, can-do approach to your work.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with our Learning and development Advisors to commission and/or deliver mandatory and specific training.
The key areas are:
· knowledge and experience of procurement processes and the commissioning cycle
· experience of facilitation and the development and delivery of learning
· experience of writing training specifications and evaluating provider submissions.
You will undertake a range of tasks which will vary according to business need. Specific areas of work will be identified through business planning processes.
You will need to be well organised, calm and methodical, with a flexible approach to cope with the demands of a busy working environment.
