Suffolk Record Office has a vacancy in our digitisation team based in Bury St Edmunds. The post is offered as a zero hours contract and the hours are driven by customer orders. 

You will provide and develop an efficient digitisation service for our customers, looking to promote our other core services, whilst ensuring the security and long-term preservation of archives and local studies materials.

You will need:

  • good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • good IT skills
  • an interest in heritage
  • excellent customer service skills.

Please be aware the role involves physical tasks, such as lifting.
