We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our strong team.

You will be sharing a Year 4 Class with the Deputy Head of School.

We are a two-form entry school therefore you will be working alongside a teaching partner and within the Key Stage 2 team.

You will be able to plan sequences of lessons which develop the children's foundations in learning whilst offering them a range of experiences to bring our topics to life. You will have a calm and friendly manner with high expectations of the children.

Tollgate is a growing school which is committed to working with our families and the local community to develop the children's academic and social skills. We offer a warm and welcoming environment with a dedicated staff team who are supportive of one another. There is a clear vision for school development to improve outcomes for all pupils.

Tollgate was graded 'Good' at its last Ofsted inspection in May 2017.

As part of the Bury St Edmunds All-Through Trust, there are opportunities for teachers to work with colleagues from across the age ranges and it offers opportunities for extra-curricular activities for the children.
