We are looking for a chartered town planner who is interested in addressing strategic challenges to deliver sustainable growth, including minerals and waste policy.
You will be part of a small but busy team of planners and other professionals working on a diverse range of projects, promoting inclusive growth.
You will be responsible for the forward planning work of the county council and managing a team of four engaged in:
- monitoring and keeping under review the Minerals and Waste Local Plan
- formulating responses to Local and Neighbourhood Plans and major planning applications (excluding NSIPs)
- aligning the delivery of infrastructure through Local Plans, the Community Infrastructure Levy and Section 106.
We also offer flexible working, an attractive salary and pension.
