An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Suffolk County Council (SCC) IT team as an Apprentice RPA Developer, working from Constantine House, Ipswich.

Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System (SNEE - brings together the full spectrum of partners responsible for planning and delivering health and care across North East Essex, Ipswich and East Suffolk and West Suffolk to ensure shared leadership and joint action to improve the health and wellbeing of the one million people who live locally.

SNEE has a key role in connecting partners to work together at scale around the key strategic areas that are essential in 'enabling' transformation of health and care delivery at the frontline.

An exciting new programme of work that will have a positive impact on these strategic areas centres on robotic process automation (RPA). A number of partners have come together to create a collaborative approach to RPA, to create a common workforce model, and to grow our own regional talent. You will spend half of your apprenticeship working with Suffolk County Council and the rest will be with East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT).

You will:

  • study a Level 4 IS Business Analyst BCS course over a period of 19 months
  • learn about and gain valuable on-the-job skills around RPA and business analysis
  • gain further experience by being part of an RPA apprentice swap scheme
  • become Blue Prism accredited.

As well as some technical computer experience, a genuine interest in how processes work, and why people do things a certain way, skills required for the role will be:

  • the ability to manage a project
  • strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • teamwork
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • interpersonal skills
  • flexibility, adaptability, and initiative.
