ASSET Education is an establishing primary multi-academy trust running 14 schools in Suffolk. We are looking for a second Trust Assistant Finance Officer to support the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in managing the day-to-day finances of the trust and its academies. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that management and financial accounting activities are completed on a timely basis and in an efficient manner.
We are looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic professional to help drive forward the trust's core finance activities.
The Trust Assistant Finance officer will be someone who has:
- significant finance experience, ideally within an educational context (but not essential)
- a formal accounting qualification or equivalent experience
- a high level of drive and motivation
- excellent organisational and inter-personal skills.
The post involves working in different locations across Suffolk and the post holder must be willing and able to travel.
