5 days a week, 7.30am - 9am daily. Term time only, with further opportunities for holiday work in the future. Fixed term for 1 year initially.

We would like to appoint a caring and creative person to assist in our breakfast school club. You will be hardworking and enthusiastic and have some experience of working with primary age children within a school environment.

This role includes:

  • supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times
  • engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation
  • setting up activities for children to optionally take part in
  • meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club.

You will work within a small team to create a fantastic atmosphere that helps make the before school time relaxing and enjoyable for all the children involved.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications in play work or childcare or working towards or willing to work towards this qualification would be an advantage, but not necessary. A first aid qualification is also desirable along with a willingness to undertake further training essential.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by contacting Helen Ashe (Headteacher) or Nadine Fairweather (Deputy Headteacher) at the school office on (01284) 810223.

An application pack can be downloaded from the related information section. Please send completed applications to: admin@barrow.suffolk.sch.uk
