Do you want to make a real difference to the children and colleagues that you work with? We want every day to be exciting – not just for our children, but for everyone in our school community. To do this you will need to be (amongst other things) creative, caring, willing to take risks and most importantly focussed on enjoying your job and creating the best opportunities for our incredible community.

An opportunity has arisen for us to expand our already highly successful SEN and Pastoral team. Working with children who need more focused support, including in a 1:1 capacity, you will be helping them to enjoy the wonderful opportunities that Woods Loke Primary School has to offer.

Whether new to working in a school or an experienced teaching assistant, you will have the skills to help the children you work with to learn, aspire and achieve - bringing wonder and high expectations to everything you do. With a ‘Good’ from Ofsted and finalists in the Setting of the Year category at Raising the Bar 2019, there are exciting times ahead!

You will need to be a proactive individual, confident in your abilities to support primary aged pupils and with a passion for providing high levels of support. The role requires a high level of flexibility and your understanding of providing outstanding care will be coupled with an enthusiastic and dedicated approach.

Due to the current coronavirus restrictions which are in place, we encourage all interested applicants to ring the school in the first instance.

More information about our school can be found on our website: www.woodsloke.org

An application pack is available to download from the related information section.

Please return completed applications to: office@woodsloke.org

Interview date: 15 and 16 April 2021.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts.
