We are proud to have a strong, caring and hard-working pastoral team which makes significant contributions to students' engagement in school. We are looking for a diligent, honest and hard-working colleague who will be committed to supporting our students to become the very best people that they can be. The position involves working with Year 9 / 10 students under the guidance and direction of the Head of Year 9 / 10.
This will be a challenging but extremely rewarding position which often involves working closely with some of our most vulnerable and challenging students. We care passionately about our students as individuals, and support and encourage them to achieve success in all aspects of school life. If you have the patience and the stamina needed to make a difference to our students, then we would love you to apply.
The Year 9 / 10 tutor team will move up throughout the pastoral system which sees rotation between Year 8 - 11 with a fixed Year 7 tutor team.
Level 3 qualifications and GCSE mathematics and English (or equivalent) are essential. Experience of working with secondary age students is desirable.
