Required from September 2019, a dedicated and enthusiastic Careers Adviser to provide personalised careers guidance to our students.

The role will involve 1:1 careers interviews alongside supporting the whole school strategic careers programme.

You will want to make a difference and be able to bring out the best in others, be approachable and articulate, organised and methodical and have excellent administration and IT skills.

You will hold GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent, qualification in Careers Guidance and Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development or equivalent; have expert knowledge of legislation and guidance on careers, including the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful, 11-18 school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results.

We are a Leading-Edge school and have been graded 'Outstanding' in our last two Ofsted reports (May 2013, March 2007).
