This is an exciting opportunity for a Cover Co-Ordinator to join our dedicated and professional Cover Team.

You will ideally have a strong clerical background and be organised and flexible in your approach to work. Experience of working within a high school environment would be advantageous but is not essential. It is essential to be a team player who is able to work with minimum supervision, knowing when to seek support and advice.

This is an important and key role in the school and excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you will need to be calm, patient and understanding. You will also have a flexible approach to all aspects of the role and the ability to cope with a wide range of tasks.

The successful applicant is required to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft products and have English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above.  A good working knowledge of SIMS is advantageous, but not essential.

Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful 11 - 18 school located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk, just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results.

We are part of East Anglian Schools Trust (EAST) alongside Kesgrave High School and Bungay High School. We are a Leading Edge school and have been graded 'Outstanding' in our last two Ofsted reports. We were awarded Teaching School status in 2011. We are committed to developing and promoting our staff and have an excellent CPD and support programme for new staff.

Should you wish to discuss the role in further detail, please contact Dr. Sievewright, Headteacher, Pete Smith, Deputy Headteacher - Staffing or Linda Marsh, HR Manager on (01394) 385720 or email: lmarsh@farlingaye.suffolk.sch.uk

For full details on the role and to apply, please visit the school website: www.farlingaye.suffolk.sch.uk

Please note: only applications submitted via the school's online recruitment process will be considered.

Interview date: w/c 23 September 2019.

Farlingaye High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share and adhere to this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to provide satisfactory references and undertake an Enhanced Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
