Required from January 2020.

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide cover for teaching staff to enable teachers to carry out their professional duties, training and development and to provide cover for short term absences to complement our existing team.

You will be passionate about inspiring students of all abilities and will have high expectations in standards and strong classroom management skills. We also welcome applications from graduates who are considering going into a career in teaching.

Stowmarket High School is an 11 - 18 school, serving one of the fastest growing towns in the country. We have a high achieving sixth form provision, a strong culture of continual professional development and a shared belief that shaping the future for staff and students alike is central to our business.

Stowmarket High School is situated in picturesque mid Suffolk with excellent commuter links to Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich. We are an inclusive 11 - 18 academy and part of Waveney Valley Academies Trust. Construction of a new school has commenced on our current site and we plan to move into our new state of the art school in 2020.
