St Alban’s Catholic High School is an Academy within Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Trust with approximately 1,000 students including Sixth Form.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Finance Manager to help the Academy and Trust progress and improve.
The role will support the Headteacher and Trust Chief Financial Officer in managing the day-to-day finances of the Academy with some work across other Trust schools.
The primary role of the candidate will be to ensure that management and financial accounting activities and contract administration are completed on a timely basis and in an efficient manner.
The Trust itself is an establishing multi-academy trust currently running 1 secondary and 4 primary schools, with a Diocesan plan that will increase the Trust to 11 schools across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire (2 secondary schools and 9 primary schools) over the next 18 months.
We are looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic professional to help drive forward the Trust's core financial plan and activities.

Although this is a full time position, we would consider more flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
The post will be based at St Alban's but may involve some working in different locations across Suffolk and the post holder must be willing and able to travel.
