30 hpw, Monday - Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 1 week).

Required ASAP, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Physics Technician to join our successful science department.

You will be required to provide technical support to the team, ensuring appropriate equipment and resources are available to support teaching and learning in a safe working environment.

You will work closely with the team and be expected to provide classroom support during lessons. You will need to have good communication skills, with the ability to relate well to young people and have a passion for science. Your role will also support projects and events within the local area involving other schools.

There is the opportunity to make this a Senior Science Technician position to include appropriate supervisory responsibility for up to three staff, with enhanced pay and an additional 5 hpw.
