Post 1: 30 hpw over 5 days. Maternity cover.
Post 2: 18 hpw over 3 days, 39 weeks per year. Fixed term contract from 1 November 2019 - 31 August 2020.

Job share would be considered.

The North Lowestoft Pupil Referral Unit Partnership is a partnership of three thriving and successful units: First Base, Harbour and Old Warren House.

First Base is a Foundation Stage / KS1 PRU that supports schools and pupils in the Northern Area of Suffolk.

These posts offer a great opportunity for experienced support assistants wanting to work specifically with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting pupils within First Base and their mainstream schools.

Applications from experienced support assistants, or those who have varied experience of working with children are welcome. Training and full induction will be given.

You will need to be:

  • a good communicator
  • non-judgemental and committed to equal opportunities
  • committed to raising the achievement of children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
