6.67 hpw, 1 hour 20 minutes each day (midday - 1.20pm), Monday - Friday, 38 weeks per year, term time only.
There may also be opportunity for additional hours as a Relief Learning Support Assistant.
Required ASAP to work as part of the staff team under the direction of class teachers and may be required to work with pupils of any age and ability.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated person with a warm personality, to join the very friendly and supportive team at our all-age special school for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Midday Supervisory Assistants work as part of the staff team under the direction of class teachers and may be required to work with pupils of any age and ability. Emotional and physical resilience, the ability to stay calm in challenging situations, patience and a good sense of humour are all very important.
Hillside is a very successful school that places the pupils at the heart of everything. We retained our "Outstanding" rating, for a fourth consecutive occasion, in a short inspection by Ofsted in March 2018.
