28.33 hpw, 39 weeks per year. 12 midday - 6pm, Monday - Thursday; 11.40am - 4pm (Friday).

Required from January 2019.

SENDAT is a Multi Academies Trust focusing on specialist provision and special schools. Priory School, a founder member of SENDAT is an academy special school for students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Priory currently has 189 student places including 23 residential places.

Due to internal transfer, we are seeking a Residential Care and Teaching Assistant to provide support our students both in class and in their after-school activities.

You will also be required to participate in 5 x staff professional development days during the year.

You will act as a vital link between the residential and Special Teaching Assistant Teams and provide continuity or support for our students, in both their classroom setting and in their more informal residential activities. You will play a key role in helping them to develop self-dependence and the social skills to integrate successfully into the school and wider communities.
