We are looking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our established team. With either a TA qualification, or equivalent experience in supporting and working with senior school aged pupils, you must be confident in supporting pupils up to at least GCSE level (knowledge of supporting pupils in mathematics and the sciences would be particularly advantageous), and have had experience of working with pupils with specific learning difficulties.
The ability to form excellent relationships with pupils and staff is essential, as well as being prepared to be self-motivated and flexible. Having a high level of initiative and patience, as well as the desire to want to make learning as accessible and enjoyable for all pupils irrespective of their level of need, is of utmost importance. Our value added for our SEND pupils at GCSE and A Level is very positive. A commitment to ensuring this remains the “best it can be” is also essential.
