Work base is negotiable upon Appointment. Secondment Opportunity or Fixed Term for 2 Years.

*plus £2,593 pa honorarium for full time participation in the AMHP daytime rota (if applicable).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced AMHP (Approved Mental Health Practitioner) to become the Deputy AMHP Lead for Suffolk.

You will be required to assist in the management of the Suffolk AMHP service and deputise for the AMHP Lead Manager when required.

A major focus of this role will be to continue our detailed review of the AMHP service and development / implementation of the findings.

You will be the first point of contact for AMHPs seeking advice or consultation. You will play a key part in taking forward the development of the AMHP service, ensuring that the service functions effectively whilst helping to transform it during a period of change.

The role will require you to be an experienced AMHP with an excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act.

You will be collaborative in your approach and a strong communicator / negotiator who prioritises partnership working. You will possess strong networking skills and be resilient and independent.

A relevant professional qualification and NMC or HCPC registration are essential.

The job requires travel, so you must be willing and able to travel across Suffolk.
