We have various hours available, including full time, weekend, nightwake and casual contracts. If you are working on a casual basis you will be paid at £10.55 ph, no rota pattern or additional weekend payment applies.

Suffolk County Council are looking for people like you to help develop and grow our children and young people of Suffolk.
Our residential homes are open 365 days per year, therefore, you will be required to work as part of a rota which consists of evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Night workers are required to work on their designated nights every week and every third Saturday.
It is desirable that you have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care, however if this is not the case, Suffolk County Council are committed to developing the skills of its staff and will offer full support and training for you to achieve this industry recognised qualification.
* includes £1,245 pa (pro rata for part time) for working weekends as part of your rota pattern.
