An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Suffolk County Council (SCC) Adult Social Care teams as a Senior Social Worker, working from Suffolk.

ACS (Adult Community Services) recruiting countywide for Senior Social Workers.

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Senior Social Workers to join our Adult Social Care teams.

As a Senior Social Worker in Suffolk, you will manage complex caseloads, including risk assessment and purposeful intervention through direct work quality assuring interventions. You will have experience of developing strong working relationships with partners, other agencies and the voluntary sector to deliver improved outcomes.

For this role you will need to a qualified, registered social worker and have completed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).

We are specifically looking for a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to work in a small joint health and social care team. This is an exciting opportunity which has arisen to join the joint Suffolk County Council (SCC) and Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust as a Forensic Mental health Social Worker, working from Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich. This is an opportunity to work in the friendly Community Forensic MH team based in Norwich. The team provides care and treatment for mentally disordered offenders who are detained under the Mental Health Act within medium and low secure settings. You will also provide social supervision to conditionally discharged, restricted patients under part 3 MHA 1983. For more details on this specific role please contact Julia Wunderlich 07795 952745 or Joanne Bailey 07714 139735
