What you could be part of…

In conjunction with several partners, South Norfolk Council has overseen the development of a floodlit full size artificial grass pitch.  Investment in excess of £700k has been made so far with more to follow, with planned future enhancements to the tennis facilities. Our Recreation Assistants will be support the Team Leader and be responsible for delivering a first-class service, maintaining high standards and serving our customers.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Supervising the artificial grass pitch
  • Setting up activities within the pavilion, tennis centre and the artificial grass pitch
  • Assisting with tours from potential hirers
  • Ensuring the centre is well run, safe and ready for business
  • Carrying out basic reception duties and café duties

You must have…

A passion for excellent customer service in a leisure/sporting environment.  A willingness to undertake professional development specific to the facilities.  A First Aid at Work Qualification (training can be provided before commencement of employment).  Previous experience in a leisure/fitness environment is desirable but not essential. You must have good attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with our customers.
