We wish to appoint an experienced Music Teacher to teach all age groups (4-11yrs).

‘Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without’ so Music is at the heart and soul of our Catholic school and plays a powerful role in our school mission to “Live Life to the Full!”

You will be responsible for co-ordinating the Primary National Curriculum for Music and EYFS, developing a repertoire of songs and hymns, organising music for Mass and Collective Worship so playing the piano would be an advantage, and leading the orchestra and choir so to foster a love of music and provide opportunities for talented children to perform and shine.

At St. Mark’s, we are committed to providing a stimulating and exciting learning environment in which pupils are highly receptive to learning. Our children are delightful; staff and parents are fully supportive and the job would be rewarding and fulfilling.

Visits to the school are welcome and for more information please contact the school office: admin@st-mark.suffolk.sch.uk

An application pack can be downloaded from the related information section.

Interviews: w/c 3 February 2021.

This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks required for relevant posts. Suffolk County Council - welcoming diversity.
