Required from September 2019 or January 2020.

Saint Felix is a co-educational day independent school for boarders and day pupils from the ages 2 - 18. It has a vibrant local and international boarding community.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, aspiring teacher to take on the role of Head of Sixth Form. This is a significant role in the Senior Department of Saint Felix School with the focus being on the students to achieve outstanding results using their full potential.

You will be a member of the Senior Management Team with key input into the pastoral and academic welfare of the Sixth Form students. They will not only ensure the student’s academic progress is on target but will also oversee the completion of UCAS and university applications, as well as all other post-18 opportunities. They will be supported by a team of experienced tutors.

You will be expected to contribute to the life of the whole school and support its overriding ethos. This will include taking on a pastoral role as a tutor, as well as contributing to our extensive extra-curricular programme.

There is the opportunity for you to live on-site, rent free, in return for boarding duties. Applicants who can offer expertise and experience in the residential scenario should indicate their interests in the application.
