Required from September 2019.

Flexible working or part time and job share will be considered.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our excellent mathematics team at an exciting time in our journey.

Mathematics is a subject area which has experienced real growth. A strong and innovative team, we have the capacity to support NQTs or early career teachers very well.

A July start date for NQTs would be available. We would also encourage applications from experienced teachers and a recruitment and retention allowance would be available.

With results consistently showing positive progress scores well above national, we are a high performing team. We use mastery approaches in teaching and learning and are part of a local maths hub project. We also engage in learning platforms such as Hegarty Maths and Timestables Rockstars with great success. Our ambition for success for all learners in mathematics is very high indeed.

You will:

  • be innovative, creative and enthusiastic with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes
  • have an incisive understanding of teaching and learning and the ability to reflect and challenge.

Professional development opportunities are plentiful, and we are working hard to be innovative around workload; we want you to have a balanced life and enjoy working with our children!

Castle Manor Academy aims to be the inspiration for the individuals within its community. The willingness to take risks, to be innovative and creative are the attributes we wish to develop in everyone. We have a strong set of values and we care. Teaching and Learning is at the heart of all we do and permeates our culture. We are part of the Unity Schools Partnership with other secondary, primary and a Special Free School and have a strong history of effective staff development and training.
